CAP updates finance sections of advertising codes

The Committee of Advertising Practice has updated the finance sections of the BCAP and CAP Codes to reflect the fact that the Financial Conduct Authority has taken over the advertising responsibilities of the Financial Services Authority, and also to reflect changes in the legislation since the Codes were drafted, including, for example, the enactment of the Consumer Credit (Advertisement) Regulations 2010 (which largely replace the Consumer Credit (Advertisements) Regulations 2004 (as amended)). The updates are editorial rather than substantive.
